It’s officially Happy New Year to you from me as this is my first blog post of the year and I sincerely apologize for the delay. January has been planning and strategizing period for me. With so much in the pipelines for the year, I genuinely wish you achieve all your 2019 goals even before the year runs out.
This collaboration was exciting for me because our Girl Boss today suggested it and also styled me. A blogger prayer answered as I had not had the time to plan a shoot for my blog more of styling. Girl Boss Meet Up became a new segment on the blog during the creative thinking of this post and I decided to do this more often.
MEET THE GIRL BOSS
WHO ARE YOU?
Hi, my name is Nonye and I help brands create & curate content to help tell their brands’ story. I blog about fashion, lifestyle and everything in-between.
WHY DO YOU KEEP POPPING ON MY PAGE, LOL?
I keep popping in your posts cause you love me.
WHAT IS THE HARDIEST & EASIEST THING ABOUT BLOGGING IN NIGERIA?
It’s being 2years of blogging for me and The hardest used to be getting brands to find bloggers worthy enough to get paid for their services but now that’s gotten better & for me, the hardest thing has to find a location to shoot urgh.
The easiest thing about blogging in Nigeria? Is how un-saturated the market is, it’s easier to stand out & show people the value you have to offer as long as you’re dishing out original content.
I HAVE SEEN YOU GROW FROM BLOGGING TO CONSULTING & STYLING, HOW DID YOU GET HERE?
Growth really, having a Fashion blog has given me & it still gives me a sense of direction in my life, Helps me evolve into different aspects of fashion or rather it’s slowly giving me the clarity to what aspect or role I have to play in the fashion industry.
BEFORE YOUR PASSION BECAME YOUR FULL TIME, HOW DID YOU COPE WITH A 9-5?
After NYSC I’ve never had a 9-5 that wasn’t somehow related to what I was doing so that really helped me because I was feeding off my 9-5 to grow myself as a blogger. I mean the 9-5 pay was quite petty but that was the sacrifice I made to slowly dive into my passion. This choice wasn’t made because I couldn’t find a corporate 9-5 but knew I wanted to live a life doing what I love.

WHAT’S YOUR REGULAR DAY LIKE?

HAVE YOU HAD ISSUES OF CYBER BULLY & HOW DID YOU HANDLE IT?
Actually, I haven’t, Thanks to the block button
WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU SPENT MONEY ON & WHAT NEXT WILL YOU BE BUYING?
